TREKKING MERAPI; Merapi Pasar Bubrah Hike


This 2 days/1 night trekking Merapi leads you until view point (+- 2680 m ASL) of Pasar Bubrah, an old crater of volcano Merapi wich is today an wide area dominated by volcanic sand, gravel, and boulders, located under peak of volcano Merapi. The area is popular view point of viewing the peak zone of Merapi ( +- 2968 m ASL), a steep rocky cone made up by various types of magma. After huge Merapi magmatic eruption on 2010, no plant could grow or adapted well in the area (until 2016).So the area is reflecting a real type of extreme volcanic environment.
